I am currently looking at two different trucks to purchase. The Freightliner is a 2018 with a DD13 w/10 speed mid roof. The second truck is a mid roof 2018 International LT Cummins w/10 speed. Both trucks have about 330K miles only. Which truck would you consider more based on reliability? Have you had any experiences with any of these trucks?

I have a 17 midroof cascadia dd13 and dt12 pulling flatbed. Great truck. My mileage is over 8 mpg running 65 mph in the south. No issues with the truck so far. Got it with around 400k miles.

Look at the service records for both and an ECM dump

Don't forget the dyno and blowby, especially with this mileage.

It really has to do with how these trucks were maintained. If no maintenance was done it really doesn't matter. Buying used trucks can be a blessing or a curse. I would have them looked over really well. If you do make a purchase I would have the bearings done. It would give you a idea of what's happening in the inside. All the best on your journey.

I had a 2016 cascadia with a DD13, and now have a 2018 international LT (former heartland truck) mid roof, 10speed, Cummins x15. Both are good trucks, but if the mileage is pretty close I would probably lean towards the Cascadia, but I’m happy with the International as well.

I have a 2017 Cascadia DD 13. Great truck. I love it. My only complaint is the dd13 is not very powerful.
