does anyone know a company with good dental insurance my teeth have gone to #### due to the fact the jobs ive had in the past have had wayyy overpriced health/dental insurance like 800$/month or just simply havent offered it and i was wondering what companys had the best insurance that starts on date of hire so i can start to get something done with these painfull buggers

hopefully crst is not your only choice. and to answer the original ? health insurance and dental is reasonably priced. i have med/dent/life/and some thing else but can't think straight right now. dental insrance is like under 2$ a week but the down fall on that there is usually a waiting period on dental, sometimes as long as a year. everything else kicks in pretty quick.

Most trucking company dental plans pay around $1000 to $2000 a year for dental work and give you free or discounted cleaning and exams every 6 months.

I had over 7K worth of dental work done when I worked at USX and payed out of pocket for 5k of it. I had some procedures done in Nov and the rest after new years so I could get full use of the plan without waiting several months.

A root canal alone can wipe out a dental plans yearly payout. Which is why you see so many trucker missing teeth. Extractions are cheap compared with saving a tooth.

My advise would be to call any trucking company (not the recruiter) before your hire on and ask to speak with the benifits dept. Ask them how much the cost is and when coverage starts for a new hire. Good luck

My last job, I had a couple different guys that would drive to Mexico and have their teeth done. A WHOLE lot cheaper, and that was not even using insurance.....and they did a great job on their teeth. I wish now, I would have asked who they used. Down Laredo tx boarder area.
