    Hi!!

My fiancé and I are just coming out of CDL school and are looking for companies which train teams together. Covenant is the only company we've found that does, and the other thread on here that asks the same question is 12-yrs old and has a lot of outdated info.

We wanna be OTR, we don't want home time, and other than having a small pooch, are basically looking to work our butts off and get as many safe miles for the best rate we can.

    Any ideas, truckers? Recruiters?

    Thank you!!

Covenant is a good choice for dry van; go for it.
I think @MBAngel still is there as husband/wife team.

    Thank you Chinatown!

I'm just wondering if they are the *only* choice for team training.

We're in Virginia, but since we wanna go OTR with no home time, we don't mind if the job is somewhere very far from our home.

Com on out to Las Vegas; it's great here. No personal state income taxes and low cost of living.
My mother was born in Hopewell, VA but we were raised in Tennessee.
Covenant has a good reputation for husband/wife, girl friend/boyfriend couples.
    Do you have hazmat endorsements?
After you both get 12 mos. experience, you can make $125K - $160k each, by doing line haul with companies such as R&L Carriers and Estes Express.

If we move to Vegas, that means we have to be home to pack, and we'd rather be out with the wheels moving, and on our 34s we wanna be checking out the country and not packing!! Hahaha

We do have Hazmat endorsements. I think Line-Hauling means we'd be home, right? We wanna be maxing our miles per week, so I have a hard time imagining that a home-every-night routine would work.

It seems that we'll have a lot more options when we get some experience. But for now, we just want to get behind the wheel and get a bunch of safe miles under our wheels.

Line haul doesn’t always mean you’re home every night, it means you’re running to terminals. Depending on the company and their terminal locations you could run east coast to the west coast and back.
