This is actually a 3 part question, 1 involving the search feature and 2 asking about internet.

The first is on the search feature. I typed in "Comcast" in the search box and got a whole bunch of threads, but a lot of them really didn't have much to do with Comcast. Then I typed in "Comcast Wifi" and got 0 threads. Then "Comcast + Wifi" and still got 0.

I've noticed this in other things I'm looking for too. If I type in 2 things without quotation marks, it seems to give me a lot of threads with either name in it, but not a whole lot of the 2 together. If I type the 2 things in quotation marks I often get nothing.

So my first Q is what do I type in if I wanted to search for something that had 2 parts to it?

The 2nd Q is on Comcast Wifi hotspots. Are those common around the country? Comcast says they have over 1,000,000 hotspots around the country, but I'm not sure how many of those are at truckstops. I'd rather use my laptop than my tablet. I barely know how to navigate the tablet, it takes forever to download anything on it, and I've only got 2 GB (or MB or whatever it is) of data. Sprint told me I'd be ok if I just read the local sports pages and did some emails, but I'd go over it pretty quickly if I watched YouTube or anything like that on it.

My phone plan is $30 for 200 minutes before 6PM and unlimited talk after 6PM. My tablet is $15 for 2MB of data, with no talk on the thing. About what can I expect to pay for a decent internet plan if Comcast's wifi's aren't in truckstops?

My internet activity is basically this site, the Detroit Free Press sports and news sections, some email, Facebook, some videos that people share on Facebook, and some YouTube videos. I don't game, watch tv, download movies or anything like that. I also don't care if I've got to go a few days without internet. If I have it I'll probably get on it, but if I don't there's nothing that I do that can't wait a few days.

Good reason to go Sprint or T-Mobile. I have Sprint and have internet(unlimited)95ish % of the time (slow still counts). HTC One w FoxFi tethered to Lenovo laptop. I stream 100+gigs a month.

You mean xfinitywifi/ xfinity wifi? Comcast internet is call xfinity...according to the ssid name I'm picking up. My tmobile data plan has better coverage than xfinity. So it's not really popular.

Truck stop internet cost $2/$5 for one hour I think.... I have Jetpack with Verizon so I can get internet anywhere since tmobile sucks

Did you say 2Mb for $15??? Do you mean 2GB?? 2mb is like one picture or half a song lol what provider do you got?

Hi DaddyD, Can't give you any info about comcast wifi but I doubt you'll find it in truck stops. They tend to have their own branded wifi and its not that great.

there is a section specifically for data and cell plans that might be a better place to ask.

Whoops- sorry about asking in the wrong place. If it needs to be moved or deleted, no problem. Thanks for the replies.
