Newish driver got an opportunity to work local in Los Angeles at the Boat Coca Cola Location. It’s a Union barn. Though, experience, and advice is greatly welcomed. What kind of max pay and OT am I looking at.

    Chinatown Thanks this.

Is this the position/job you had in mind (or similar):

Coca Cola delivery driver -- Union benefits -- Los Angeles, CA

When you say you are a "newish" driver...be a bit more specific--just how much CDL-A experience do you already have?

What endorsements (if any) do you already have?

If the above posting is pretty much what you had in mind -- it may (or may not) be a good fit for you, depending on what you've already done in the CDL world....:dontknow:

Have you already had some CDL training at another carrier--after CDL school (& if so--who, may I ask)?

Reyes also has a beer division. I think the beer guys make more money.

If you have an opportunity to work there then why don't you ask them?

    GoneButNotForgotten and JoeyJunk Thank this.

Los Angeles. Can’t think of any job with any kind of pay that would be worth it.

BennysPennys, bzinger and Hazmat Cat Thank this.

Those single screw short trailers (side loaded) delivering to 7/11's gas stations etc. Lumping those cases from the trailer to the ground then the hand truck wheeled into the store thru the front door, keeping an eye on your trailer since young punks now-a-days like to help themselves to your product, then into the cooler and rotate customers stock, then take returns back to your truck and lump them into the trailer, then get signature from clerk, then try to leave the parking lot without hitting any cars ! X 12 stops a day ! Fun times, right ?

Stonehjl, BennysPennys and rockeee Thank this.
