I got a Cobra 29 for christmas that has bluetooth, its like a 6 pin mic or something (didnt look real close). Are there any options out there for me? I would like to get a roadking, I don't care if the bluetooth option works anymore or not.

It's my understanding, you won't have any options. How true that is...I dunno.

This question was asked of a CB shop just yesterday. They told the driver he was stuck with the mic it came with.

Google Custom CB radios and click on the Microphones button on the side of the page. I have a feeling that you will find just what you are looking for.

Yes they are and that is why Custom CB radios is modfying RK56s and 636s to work with this particular radio and still keep the blue tooth function.

All they are doing is wiring a 4 wire mic to a 6 wire plug. Not a big deal any compedant shop should be able to do this, but you will lose your bluetooth. Stay away from custom radio they are a rip off. If they haven't got you consider yourself lucky, keep dealing with these hacks and they will get you.

Nope not quite. The modified Rk56 and 636 mics work just like the stock bluetooth mic but are much better quality.

As far as Doug and his work. LOL. Much better then 99% of the cb shops out there.

You want a hack job then go to Radio active radios or GI Joes.

The Bluetooth has a 6 pin plug on it.Similar to the RCI .
Pin 5 and 6 operate the bluetooth features.
Pin 1 is Ground, 2 is audio, 3 is transmit and 4 is receive.

If you can find a new plug ,you can wire any mic to the radio, or you can rape the plug you have now.
