    Where can I find a cobra 148gtl? And are the ones made in China bad compared to the ones made in Taiwan or Malaysia? I'm looking for a SSB capable cb.

    Fleebay is the only place I can think of. Unfortunately they want new radio prices for used radios. Also the Taiwan radios are better than the China radios.

    I just missed a 148gtl for $45. It still hurts today even though the sale happened last week... What's a other good alternative for this radio?

    The Uniden Grant is a great radio. Some folks like it better than the 148.

    There is someone in Brandenburg Ky, might be a cb shop, don't know for sure that has lots of different radios for sale on craigslist.

    If you’re still in the market, look around on apps like letgo or OfferUp. I’ve found people willing to ship radios from those phone apps.

    I’ve always had better luck with any 148 that was manufactured anywhere other than China.
