Hello, i am a new trucker to this forum and i have a problem with my 2007 volvo vnl 780 fruse #f20 (cluster and radio) its a 10 amp it started to blow them at first and now its frying it before i even get a chance to push it in place bacsicaly arching once the fuse touches the terminal...

you have a short in the circuit somewhere. look for a chafed wire. i'd start with the radio harness and plug.

No it just started blowing a fuse a day 5 days ago and then now its just frying them befor i even get it in

Yeah thats the first thing i did is disconnected the radio harness

this circuit is also tied in with the overhead/dome lights,correct? are there courtesy lights in the door panel? thinking maybe the wiring passing from cab to door has finally chafed thru.
since you have not been in the dash just prior to this happening,i would look for any wiring on this circuit that passes thru a door grommet or related. anywhere the wiring loom moves,.Aktrans Thanks this. -
