I am looking into reactivating my MC and Dot been approved for financing and have start up capitol. Had to stop otr in 2017 wife left got full custody of kids needed to be home. Drove local since. I had clearing house violation due to being given wrong medication. Was one 10mg pill. I took pee test day after pos and was clean. Showed employer proof. They fired me anyway. All documented did SAP stuff follow up stuff cleared for return to duty. Will fhis disqualify me from getting insurance does ins co check clearing house or just mvr?

The clearinghouse house isn't a public database. You have to give permission to share the information too. Obviously your driving record is important though.

Still have to pull a full query on yourself or any driver, so insurance may want to see your driving file.

I would not give that information to any insurance company personally even if they asked for it.

Part of the driver file. Good luck telling your insurance they can't see it.

I've never had any insurance company ask for it and if they insisted I'd take my business elsewhere. Just like I did with my IFTA reports. Of course it's part of the Driver File and that's between me and the FMCSA only.
