Thought it was a great buy at that price, picked one up hooked it up and picked up an extra 3 channels ...... 10 instead of 7 with the built in antenna in Cascadia

Clear TV picks up whatever local channels are being broadcast in the area your at. Just hook it up to your tv and scan , no cost to you ... whatever free channels are out there ABC, NBC, FOX, CBS .... etc, etc. Sitting here watching the NCAA basketball in HD

I have seen some good antennas by winegard. All free TV channels. Just stick it on your window.

If it is not power amplified it will not work very well. I have a similar antenna that is amplied and most of the time I can pick up 18-25 over the air stations. Amplified version is more expensive but if it doesn't work it is not worth much. This is a perfect example of you get what you pay for. All that being said you can get signal amplifiers and stack them to get a lot higher RF gain for the incoming signal. All depends how bad you want to watch TV.

For $13 it has already shown me how much better it is than the in built antenna in this Cascadia. This will keep me happy till I can afford one of those fancy Tailgaters

I always wonder about the guys who have the tv satellite dish with them. When they park they just stick the dish outside and I assume they get numerous channels

Well yeah depending on what package you're paying for.

Some self adjust, others have to be adjusted with a remote.
And it's just like having Dish or DirectTV at home.
