Clay's Radio Shop history -
*Clays Radio Shop was opened by Clay Thompson in 1987 at exit 370 on IH20.
*The FCC did fine Clays Radio Shop for selling amps and 10 meter radios. Clay's Radio Shop was fined $100,00.00
*Clays Radio Shop continued to prosper and grow through the years, with normal business setbacks.
*Danny Miller did leave Clay's Radio Shop and opened his own business a few towns away. But to this day Danny and Clay are close friends and do still do business together.
*2005 the TXDOT closed the exits to the businesses in Gordon Texas, including Clays Radio Shop. To survive this situation Clay Thompson developed a web site for his company and rebuilt his business around the web site.
*Clay has continued with online marketing, and has branched out to motorcyclists. Due to this he has moved his business from the outskirts of all towns... into Weatherford Texas. Where he now runs his new store and multiple web stores.
*Clay still repairs and modifies radios.
New location -
