How often do you change the oil?

They are pretty cheap at Wal-Mart ($11.54 per gallon plus tax).I think I am going to stock them up.

I use 10w30 CJ-4 in my 2016 Cascadia with a DD16. I change it every 500 hours which is close to 15,000 miles. Heavy haul extreme service.

That's not synthetic though. That's mineral. Chevron or Mobile is always on sale here at Wally World $10.70 gallon, just did full PM last weekend. 12 gallons $135 out the door with tax.

It should depend on what kind of driving you are doing, in the really dirty areas where you should be greasing them zirts a few times a week to push the moisture out? Extreme temp. changes where moisture will collect in closed areas? If you are running same temps every day and not running in a dusty dirty you may get them high mileage oil change, now if I owned the truck I would be watching very closely and doing them much sooner. What is cheaper, a engine or a barrel of oil?
