Can this be done? Can"t find an air diagram or want to buy it to find out won't work. Can find a diagram for an A-4900-A-6913 newer knobs. Eaton shows it for 12513 and 9513 trans. Found articles where guys used the knob with air line changes but didn't say they had a RTO 14613. If I knew how the air flowed could figure it out.

How many air lines are on your current shift knob? 4 I thank?

The chrome knob uses 3 lines. The slave valve for it became obsolete. If you still have a 12513 and the slave shoots craps you have to update to the new style knob. The slave valve difference is why the 14613 trans used the push pull knob clamped to shifter and just a direct over chrome round knob.
All that said if you can find a 12513 with the 3 position knob and good slave valve you can achieve your goal. Yes I have done it -
