Back BEFORE all this 14 hour Clock BULL CRAP. If a driver wanted to stop and eat what we did was FIND A TRUCKSTOP OR OTHERPLACE THAT HAD TRUCK PARKING STOP PARK SECURE THE TRUCK UPDATE OUR LOGBOOK TO SHOW WHERE WE WERE GO IN AND EAT. We did not have this crap of once the truck moved we could not stop to eat or other BULL CRAP. Since when did a Truck driver become a Slave to a Clock. Hell I did more with No Reset and no 14 hour clock with the OLD 70/8 with a 10 hour restriction on drive time than what I could get done TODAY. I went back and with a book I kept on how long my loading and unloading times were I would NEVER HAVE MADE THE MONEY I DID IN THE LATE 90's with the CURRENT REGS. All becuase some ##### wanted to rewrite something that worked for 70 years. Now what are they going on the 4 or 5th TRY,

Who is the MCSA ?? There is NO regulation saying you can't stop and take break . The regulations only say it doesn't stop the clock . If you work for a company that expects you to work straight through 14 hours because the clock doesn't stop you need to find another company .

The politicians in the Teamster's pocket would never allow that .
Which makes me ask - the chicken choking driver worked for YRC . Don't union drivers get lunch breaks ? Why was he doing this behind the wheel ?
