hey guys, i got a deal on some brand new chinese tires. 275 installed for a brand called Lundy, made in china. The guy told me its just a generic brand but the same tires as some of the stuff with brand names. Any luck with these. Someone told me they would last up to 2 years.

Never buy off brand tires.
Probably could have got hancook for the same price.
Bought 4 Kelly's once..lasted one month, puncture in each one,and wore out incredibly fast.Another Canadian driver and rabbiporkchop Thank this. -
Is seems to depend. Some of our guys use them with good results for the money. Heavy haul 140,000 lbs drives last a year, they put new ones on just before winter. Trailers 12 - 18 months.
But it only takes one bad experience to get a bad taste.
Last week one fellow had a new set of RoadLux tires on his trailer for about a month. A tire blew up and did $7,000 of damage, plus punched a hole in the hopper and spilled out a few tons of oats onto the road.Another Canadian driver, x1Heavy, rabbiporkchop and 2 others Thank this. -
It may sound good now, until you lose one. I don't trust Chinese anything. Than there is the weight of the tire, some of these Chinese tires are extremely heavy when compared to a name brand or second tier American tire. That extra weight costs you fuel mileage, up to 1 mpg or a tad more in some cases. I would look at an American made tire, a Firestone, General, something like that. Shop around, there are deals out there.

What kind of hauling? Off-road and in the muck? Chinese tires are the way to go. Some guys run them all the way around and they make some deep tread steer tires

I went with Cooper roadmaster drives and now I am hearing they are Chinese too!!???
I chose them because I had heard or read that they were made in the US????
They are holding up great though (my friend has them too and almost 100k on them and they look amazing).Another Canadian driver, Shawn2130 and Steel Dragon Thank this. -
If you were going to throw them on a trailer that spent most of its time off road, I'd run them. A lot of them seem to be oval but you'd never notice it off the pavement.
