    Hey everyone,

I'm going through Wolf driving school near chicago right now to get my CDL, and they say they want to recommend me to West Wind Express in Chicago once I get my CDL... I'm uncomfortable with this because,as far as I can see when researching, it looks like a small, family owned business.theres no other info out there and they arent't BBB accredited.

I would start off making like .33 cents per mile, not sure if its real mile or what...

Does anyone know about this company/heard of them/worked for them?? They dont seem to have their own web page, even.

Is it better to try to start with a big company like Schneider or Maverick? I'm just uncomfortable because ts a small company and theres not much info about them...

    heres what i found:

    thank you,

Whatever you do, listen to the experienced drivers here. As a wannabe here for the last year, my knowledge of the trucking industry and respect for drivers is immense.

Click on the link that you posted, when that page comes up click on the MC number or the USDOT number, the next page will be the feds Safer website with the companies address and other stats, on that page in the upper right hand corner it will say SMS results, click on that and the company CSA scores will come up. You will see that just about all the basics are over the threshold and in the red. Hope this helps......

Theres a brown haired woman in the office who, when I asked what companies I should apply for, she told me she'd problly have me apply there first. After seeing very little info online , I posted here.I didnt know how to interpret their stats, do I'm glad im getting this input.I dont understand why they would recommend this company if it's not safe.
