I know that there are a lot of different forums about tanker work , but I just thought that we could just seperate to two for all drivers . Ill start with a couple of different companies and of course u can give your advice on them pay, equipment, hometime , working conditions etc. Superior carriers , quality carriers , Dillon transport , Kemira , allstar transportation llc , airgas, Delta , stericycle , carroll fuel , coraluzzos , quest fuel, enterprise. Etc . Thanks to any and everyone for any info or suggestions with these companies and more.

I don't get the whole point of this thread. Besides missing many of the major tanker companies (Schneider, Dana/Suttles, CCC, Transport Service, Service Transport just to name a few of the top of my head), some of the ones listed are not really chemical tanker companies. airgas doesnt really count as a chemical tanker company. Plus what about the private fleets.. Nalco, GEBetz and dupont. Fuel hauling and chemical hauling is like apples and oranges...both fruit and round but that is about all they have in common.

Again, I don't understand what you are trying to get out of this thread. Most of the major tanker companies already have their own section on this board to begin with.

I've never heard of heniff before and gdyke I thought was a food grade company.
Ive seen a thread on tidewater before, but I haven't heard anything recent about them but that's what I mean a lot of those threads are old and we have new and old drivers who want to know about them! !!!!

This could be an interesting thread if people who work for those companies would post the current pay/benefit packages. Its not on most companies websites. You have to be in the process of applying to find out.

I just started with Praxair back on May 9th. Very easy work, but long hours and shift work. I work Friday through Tuesday and start at 5:30 am. I am sure I will be moving to overnight weekends after the first of the year. I make about $300 to $400 a day. Safety rules will blow your mind, but it is worth it. Definately a job I can retire at. Any more questions, just ask.
