Knowing why would dictate a better answer so I'll throw you a few answers and you pick......there's nothing public that i know of.....can't let people see that kind of stuff.....won't have road rage anymore, be come to my home rage.

    Carfax
    Your Insurance agent / carrier
Deputy dawg ( public service call, check stolen )
DMV ( with good reason like suspect stolen )

And again, depends on what's going on.......if this is a private buy ( question ) then match the registration to the unit and the sellers DL. If it don't match, walk away. Pvt. seller will have a copy of the title with a lien listed too, see that or walk away.

    Good luck

Depends on what your looking for, the truck manufacturer can run the vin# to tell you what kind of warranty work has been done, and make sure all service updates have been handled correctly. There is a website called RigDig that is the equivalent to carfax for big trucks.

Rig big shows you every accident the trucks been involved with and also shows every warning or out of service violation that the truck has received and also shows who has owned the vehicle.
