A Paccar certified dealer recommended head gasket replacement on my Paccar MX13. Dealer cleaned surface of block and head with wire wheel. 9 months / 16,000 miles later truck is back in the shop with pitted head and block and internal damage to engine block. Dealer and Paccar are refusing to provide me with their procedures on head gasket replacement. Does anyone know where I could get this information from.

Could you provide me with the pages for head gasket replacement instructions from your training book?

Which MX13 do you have? I uploaded EPA 10 specs on first page of this thread.

I know this off topic but I'm changing the oil pan gasket on a 2013 epa10 mx13.. The old gasket has over a million miles on it. Original owner so I know it's never been touched. Old gasket was either installed with sealant between the folds or it vulcanized itself to the pan.. Not sure which.. Do I reinstall with sealant between the folds or go dry? It's a rubber gasket & always grew up installing those dry.. If I can get all the old gasket off that is.... Gonna try a wire wheel in the morning..

You are on the right track, razor knife and wire wheel and they are stubborn to get off the pan. Clean and dry back on.
