I'm a heavy duty truck driver!!! I don't got no certificate though. A few scars and stories...but no certificate!! Lol!
-
Who issued this 'certificate'?
Lepton1, Bean Jr. and Steel Dragon Thank this. -
Heavy duty is not sufficient for me and what I have done with really heavy trucks.
Anyone with a inkjet can make a certificate these days... it's not any value.Lepton1, Steel Dragon and FullMetalJacket Thank this. -
Are you talking about a union certificate? If so then it would have meaning within the union and likely no where else.
-
Probably means the same thing as having an air brake endorsement
Steel Dragon Thanks this. -
If you mean a cdl school certificate; many insurance companies require it for trucking companies, if the driver has no experience. Many trucking companies require it because they know, at least the driver has some basic knowledge of driving and passed the tests at the DMV.
Steel Dragon Thanks this. -
The certificate is called a commercial drivers license, you earn it and it gives you access to driving heavy duty trucks.
Lepton1, Bob Dobalina, Bean Jr. and 2 others Thank this. -
There are many certificates out there, I have had a few... They never did anything for me. My CDL and good driving record are all that I have ever been required to have.

Fills empty space on wall?
Lepton1, Oxbow and Justrucking2 Thank this.
