I ran new coax through my driver side door and could not figure out how to remove the interior door panel. I worked around it, but I'm having a he'll of a time getting it back together now. Is the window crank assembly mounted to the interior panel? The window is really hard to crank now and I can't get the panel to sit closer to the door. Anybody have experience with this?

My 06 Columbia has electric windows, so may be different.
There is a line of bolts around the outside edge of the panel that need removed.
The hidden bolts is the mirror one though. You need to remove one of the bolts that hold the exterior mirror onto the door to be able to remove the panel.
IIRC there are also 2 Torx bolts that need to come out once the panel is loose. They fasten the window track to the panel.
Over engineered, especially for a Freightliner!

OK, yes I had all the screws out but could not get the panel off. Where are these 2 Torx screws that I've obviously missed?

    Thanks.

Where are those Torx screws? I need to take mine apart this weekend since the exterior door handle/lock is loose.

You should be able to tighten that without removing the entire door panel, just pull the back panel out of the door pocket

At least that's the way I used to do it

    tallmon Thanks this.

    22 degrees and snowing.
I pulled the pocket liner out but couldn't get to the nut holding the mechanism. There are about 30 screws hold the whole panel in place, some covered by plastic covers. Too cold, will do when it warms up.
Instead, I took a piece of thin plastic and shimmed it, between the casing and the sheet metal. It'll hold until summer. ;)

Don't blame you given that temperature I would do the same thing

Don't know about on the Columbia but on the Century Class there was one bolt on the outside that was hidden under the mirror mount cover

Did you resolve the window issue? I ran New coax yesterday and now I can't roll my window down. Not sure what the problem is. Can anyone help?
