I was on CA-58 this morning and was passed by a truck pulling a Celadon trailer. I didn't see the company name on the side of the tractor. The trailer still had all of the graphics and paint scheme on it. Just wondering if anyone else is seeing Celadon out there.

I saw one about a month ago. Stood out like a sore thumb. It was somewhere here in the West, but don't remember where I saw it.

Anyway, on my 3rd day solo, I backed into a Celadon truck in a truck stop. Fortunately I didn't do much damage, I was going really slow. And thankfully the guy was really nice about it all. Naturally I was very apologetic.
Anyway, we exchange all the paperwork and stuff and then about a month later Celadon went under.
Always wonder if that claim ever got processed and paid.

That’s funny, I worked for Central 28 yrs ago. Back then we would use their Trailers. I’d imagine they had a Trailer interchange agreement. Then again, maybe not. Any empty Trailer on the Lot was game. They didn’t care.

I was with Celadon for almost 10 years when it went under.. we sold our equipment to a lot of different entities. They aren’t required to cover up the Celadon name. Just register it under their new ownership….

You would think legally they would have to remove the name from the trailer. If they get in a wreck and nobody gets the license plate number, then the real company pulling the trailer won't be held responsible.
