Trying to make my mind up on what turbo i need..C15 mbn with 600/2050 tune, 8502 injectors..right now i have a 78/132 zeke turbo..Smokes when i change gears..when i get on and accel onto roadways or when passing and step on it solid stream of smoke...90+ temp now and making it worse..Running 2004 379 flat top, flatbed...go out loaded come back empty, 85 mile trips one way.. on flat ground..getting around 5.5 mph thought i should get more..

no havent checked for leaks...holds about 40 lbs...local guy tuned it..pulls pretty good...but seems it is grasping for air,i see alot of haze when taking off getting up to speed..almost like a fuel haze, even when i turn on jakes it will bellow out smoke for a sec

First of All ive tried the zeke Turbo With not great success same issue as you have Secondly fro that Rpm 78MM will just not work all that great I know Borg Warner 171701 will work Great Or the 171702 And yes you need to make sure theres No boost leaks even small boost leaks can contribute to the smoke/haze issue

Do not put a little detroit turbo on that horse.
I run same turbo as you in traffic with a stock tuned 550 3406e works great..
If you want faster spool up go with a 177148. -
