My international 5600i 6x6 keeps shutting itself off in 30 seconds or so.
We connected a computer and got a fault code.
The cause of truck shutdown was because of engine DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) and its sensor (Picture 1) due to inappropriate type or quality of fuel. We are in Mongolia so the quality of fuel is low. No one cares the emission etc... DPF was all cleaned up the other day but didn't work

Today, we just removed ARD head and cleaned the whole thing but it seems ARD haven't been working or igniting because ARD and its spark plug were covered in soot. Can you guys take a look at the ARD and tell me if I am right or wrong?

I found a seller who can sell me the CAT ET program with a factory password and instruction to shut off the DTF for 2000$. Now I am thinking there could be ARD problem after this as well. Should i go ahead and purchase the software anyways?

    Please advise.

CAT-ET will not disable any of the emissions components, it can only enable a force regen in systems that are malfunctioning; even that rarely works since the ARD head is needed to regen and it is usually the failed component.

If you are somewhere that doesn't demand a functioning emissions system then the solution is to have the software on your ECM edited to ignore the status of all the emissions components and then remove or gut the DPF. CAT will not do this edit for you so you will have to hire a private company to make this modification, they are plentiful on the web by searching CAT DPF delete.
