cascadia air bag leaning

    ok so i replaved the u bolts and it went straight then went back to leaning. the ride passenger side. my mechanic said we need to replace leaf spring which im going to do this week. but i dont want it to be a guessing game. based on this pic would you guys say its leaf spring or nornal? idk if im over reacting Screenshot_20180429-095357_Gallery.jpg Screenshot_20180429-095357_Gallery.jpg

    Leaf spring where? Get a new mechanic. Your air bags could be over inflated. Check you leveling valve.

    so you dont think its an oos?he wouldmt pass my fmcsa inspec. so i had another guy do it. just want to do things the correct way

    Your mechanic is almost 100% correct. When your Hendrickson suspension does this it means that your leaf spring pin bushings are shot. You can replace with new leaf springs, which already have the new bushings in them, or you can just replace the bushings (cheaper but harder to do without proper tools) So no you don't need a new mechanic. He was basically correct in his diagnosis.

    Your airbags do seem to be sitting a bit high on their perches.

    from the looks of this pic. just my passenger side one right. bcz thats the one i was told needs to be changed

    I would say both after looking at the picture. Passenger is for sure worse than driver side.

    Get the BBW lot lizard out of the sleeper. Then recheck.

    I guess it's a somewhat common problem on Freightliners.
