Does anyone have any information regarding them? I'm not finding much online in ways of reviews, and it seems most of the web pages are non-present.
Trying to find out info regarding their paid training, how they treat their employees, anything really.
Thank you.

Great company...depending on what route you are on....great money. I strongly suggest team dedicated. Not sure if they offer a training program. I think I recall one has to have a year or two experience. -
Carter Express was/is a great company I worked for them for 9 years. 5 of those years on a dedicated route making 68k a year and home every day and off weekends and about a week July 4th and a week at Xmas. I had good seniority there were about 200-300 trucks I think when I started and near a 1 k when I left. I got a new truck every 12-18 months max, Volvo automatics, I loved them. I knew everyone, could walk in the owners or VP's office at any time. I had a wife at the time with brain cancer and they helped us move to Texas from Indiana letting me keep my job during the move. I only left because after the move I would have to be gone more and I had gotten used to the dedicated routes and didn't want to deal with being a board runner. I recently moved back into their area in western TN and contacted Jim S but never heard back or I would be working there again, thankfully he didn't respond. I landed a sweet, high paying, home often mail hauling gig. But I assure you will not go wrong with Carter Express out of Anderson Indiana, I can't tell you much about the other terminals or workers I left in 2013, but overall Jonh P and Jim S run a good company, I have nothing bad to say about them at all.
dennisroc, Dimitri14 and The Patriot Thank this. -
She told me if I go to the Sage driving school in Muncie, Indiana they will hire me and train me for 6 weeks and pay for my tuition at $50 per week. If I quit before 1 year I owe them $1000 for training.
I have visited Sage and Anderson and seem like pretty nice places.
What type of runs did you do before you were dedicated and what dedicated run did you have.
I know they go to Vandalia Ohio, Romulus Michigan, Knoxville or Anderson Tennessee, and Laredo TX running car parts.
I am in korea at this time but will retire in December and start Sage first of year and hope Carter will hire me.
Finding info from other drivers has been hard so I hope u get this lol
Do you get weekends off and home time through the week sometimes ?
Appreciate any info u have.
Thanks -
Most companies will not run you on dedicated routes as a beginner. You will find that they will probably run you regional to an area perhaps at first. Yet most companies will train you for the area they run at first with new graduates. As they are in the need of drivers whom are flexible of where they go, rather than limited to a specific route.

Good to see a driver on here from Carter
I was going to move back to Indiana and check with driving for Carter Express at the end of the year but I decided to go ahead and move back 3rd week of August and am really considering trying to get a job there.
I plan on attending Sage driving school in Muncie Indiana and working at their Anderson , In terminal so I hope to see you on here a lot.
I may have asked this before but just wanting to verify a few things;
Do you get weekends off and maybe home through the week sometimes ?
Do they have driver facing Camera' s ?
Do they have APU's / bunk heaters ?
Are their ELD's ,,, Qualcomm ?
Thanks for any replies !!!!!!!!!!!1
