I am about sick of getting set up with new brokers. I have grown to hate this office and scanning, faxing, printing. Not to mention being on the road and trying to do it.
I need to have my phone number redirected to someone for dispatch and setups.
Has anyone used a service for this?
I have only used MAYBE 100 brokers since I have started and I have not even made a dent in the 30+ thousand of them that exist.
I really really really have come to like the ones that say, "your show as active on DAT and that is all we need".
Carrier packet service?

HI, I OFFER A CARRIER PACKET SERVICE THAT ALLOWS YOU TO NOT HAVE TO BE IN CONTACT WITH ANY BROKERS. ALL YOU DO IS SEND ME OVER THE INFO VIA EMAIL AND I HANDLE THE WORK FROM THERE.

Another TTR member trying to encourage me to get my own authority was telling me how easy it was to do broker setups just using his iPhone. No need for a scanners/printer or any of that. He could fill out a packet and send it back fairly quickly with only his smartphone.
And for crying out loud seems like there is a rip off service around every corner for o/o. A service that fills out broker packets!? Is that a troll or is it for real? Whatever you do don't pay someone for something so silly. I know they are a pain but comon....gokiddogo and Mattflat362 Thank this. -
In my experience very few can be done with a smart phone only. I have seen a few so I know it can be done but not many people in the real world are on board with that.
It really requires a office, PC, email, Scanner, printer from what I see every day. -
Trust me, I know it sucks, but you're better off keeping your money and doing it yourself. There's ways to get it done quickly - and the CamScanner App sees a lot of use on the carriers we work with. They can get a packet back with just a smartphone and a writable PDF app in 10-20min.

Stupid question - as a carrier, would you not want to thoroughly review and red-line any questionable terms within the carrier-broker agreements?
Mattflat362 Thanks this. -
Adobe fill and sign app works pretty good. You can record your signature and just paste it where required. I still prefer using the laptop with a printer/scanner combo, though.

PPNLE and zmster2033 Thank this.
