I had this new unit installed at carrier dealer in Denver Co. (April 2022) It is currently used on my 2022 Western Star I ordered new. The reason I’m selling is because I don’t use it very often. We team drive my truck and don’t do much sitting idle. The APU currently has 469 hours on it. Nothing wrong with it. Works perfectly. Can be mounted on side of frame or on back of frame behind sleeper cab as I have it mounted. I’m leaving it mounted so a buyer can hear it run and see that it works.
Selling the A/C-Heater unit that mounts under
the bed along with the control panel. It’s easily mounted and hooked up if you are mechanical minded. The cooling system on the APU splices into your existing heater hoses to warm your truck and cool the APU. The APU basically powers the A/C-Heater unit via a generator. It will supply power outlet for electricity in your truck. The APU has a alternator to charge your batteries also. It has auto-start to charge your batteries at set voltage. It has temperature start to warm your truck at the set temperature. It has a timer to auto start at a set time. It’s available for $9000.00, I paid $13,000 when installed.
