Good evening good people. Do any of you here have Canal as your insurance company? I am thinking of switching to them because I understand they have a program where the premium is determined by how much you drive.
I drove about 34,000 miles last year, and I'll be darned if I'm going to continue to pay Great West $21,000 a year for such a low amount of travel. Especially since I have a clean record. So I need to find alternatives. Do any of you know of any other companies that bill you according to how many miles you run?
Many thanks.

Pretty hard to get a strict mileage account with only one truck. Maybe they have a monthly based on the few miles you drive.

Have great west as well. 45000 miles last yr, $7000, just did my renewal. What's your radius set at? Cargo value? What state is your home base? Credit score? A good insurance agent is worth their weight.
Lite bug, bullhaulerswife, Oxbow and 3 others Thank this. -

Hey @gekko1323, what are you driving and what coverages?
No experience with them, but I'm getting quotes myself.
Progressive was 9k for me last April, beginning my 3rd year. I also only carry liabilty on my stuff, so that could be a big difference. -
$10k premium full one year
