I have a question for everyone. Would the truck stop management get upset if somebody spends two weeks or so parked in their parking lot at night? I've spent nights at truck stops before in my personal vehicle to get coffee and shower in the morning but it was only one night at a time. Anyone know how they look at extended stay visitors?
Can you live out of a van at a truck stop?

If you park in the back in a truck parking spot, some trucker will report it to the fuel desk.
If you park out front in the convenience store lot, you might not be noticed, but there is the chance of being told to leave. Really depends on the area you are talking about. -
Moving before you have somewhere to move to, interesting.
Could be wrong but I'm guessing if you were to ask the ts they would tell you no due to some insurance issue.
Worst case, they tell you leave and you go park at a Walmart, a hotel parking lot or a thousand other places. A lot easier to find a place with a van than a big truck.producelove85 Thanks this. -

Just let the TS know you'll be in the van out back peddling bootleg DVD's to truckers for a week...won't seem out of place at all then.
