I have a dedicated route where I deliver usually 10-20 stops per load up to about 600 miles out through half a dozen southern states. Mostly to Walmarts, mixed in with a few smaller chain and independent stores. I take maybe 2-3 load a week. I leave out on Sunday and get home on Friday usually.
Just wondering what the difference was with LTL.
Can you explain the difference between an LTL and a Dedicated driver please?

You're doing the samething as Ltl (less then loaded) .. Usually when ppl say LTL they mean freight companies FedEx but your home every day.
A Bug Thanks this. -
Well and plus you said dedicated where you're going to the same stores every time . You know something ain't no difference really because LTL is LTL. LESS THAN TRUCKLOAD. Lol... I forgot what it means.
. But you have a dedicated ltl route.

Generally speaking LTL (less than truck load) refers to multiple customers shipping goods on the same truck/trailer. If this happens with a certain frequency then it becomes a Dedicated Run to the trucking company holding the service contract.

Nearly every plane coming out of florida has one or more bodies on board.

And one reason the pay is different is the shipper / revenue stream. Would you be surprised if I told you that one pup from Houston to Dallas could be worth as much as 50K ? Yep, 28000lbs of little boxes from different shippers to different receivers.....not hard to see......consider UPS.....
VS
Say a full van load from a distributor of many products like Weiner man running dollar general.....he lets off all kinds of products at several stops.......a milk run....
Just sayin....
