I was wondering if I could carry around a scooter in the truck somehow (if so, how?)? That way I could travel to nearby cities perhaps.
And I also heard you can sleep in truck dock (is that what it's called? dock?) at Malls.
Can you carry a scooter (motorcycle) in your truck?

yeah i dont see that one happening unless it was your own truck and you outfitted it with a custom built storage unit behind your sleeper to hold the bike in.

I have seen a lot of drivers do it. It is a really good idea! I don't know about a motorcycle, although I have seen it done, but a scooter should easily fit behind the sleeper on the catwalk. Scooters should be light enough to just pick up or you could just get a little ramp.

Somthing like this might be a little bit better. Its a 4 stroke Propane Powered Go-Ped.You can add a seat to one also with a basket.

I didn't know what catwalk is. -
the catwalk is the grate behind the sleeper (outside)
it would NOT be wise to have any gasoline powered device in the truck. -

best to just get the job first, and when they assign you a truck, YOU take measurements and go from there. leave the bike home for now. -
I have been struggling with this idea for a long time. and in a company truck you will struggle to fit anything back there short of a bicycle. the trailer tends to impend upon the catwalk space when you are backing. so thus your best bet is a razor scooter or cheap bicycle.

Not sure if this might work but you can check it out...HTH
