You should have known pc rules. Did your dm tell you she was going to fix it? If she did, you should have figured what hours you had available after it would have been fixed.

Whenever you go into violation, make triple sure you took a full ten hours off to clear it, in other words so it is not continuing into the following shift. Looks like you used the 20 minutes of PC as part of your ten but she changed it to driving and you in reality only got 9:40 of your 10 completed so you carried the violation forward. Because it was more than 3 hours past your 14, it also carries additional penalty called Egregious.

Everyone talks about the violation. That's one item.
What is tomorrow and the day after recap going to look like? Im beginning to think you are out of time. Maybe take your 34 reset and start over.
It's probably needed to call the dispatcher and have the appointment times adjusted to where you are not illegally breaking HOS to do it. If that means you have to wait a day or two before you get hours back, so be it. But don't make a habit of it.
I don't know too much about Elogs, in my time it was paper logs. If you ran paper logs next to the Elog you will have a pretty good idea what your 8 day recap will show you for tomorrows hours.
I think you are fortunate in having a company go after you for violation rather than being placed OOS with fines to match and then having to actually sit there for the entire time you are OOS. (Those carry a large sticker that goes directly over your side of the windshield so there is no mistaking trucks that have been placed OOS.
Again, everyone has had taken their idea to help you make sure you don't have a habit of these violations in the future. Good luck! -
While the op should have known better then to PC to advance his postiion to the next load. Sense they had kinda planed that they shoulda kept quite about it and the log department may not have even caught it. Im all for following the "guidelines" but dang it son dont tell on your self. Lol

The company has to keep the original log and the corrected log(s) for 6 months..
Who can edit an electronic logging device (ELD) record?
Who can edit an electronic logging device (ELD) record?
Both the driver and authorized carrier staff can make limited edits to an ELD record to correct mistakes or add missing information. All edits must include a note (annotation) to explain the reason for the edit. In addition, the driver must confirm (certify) that any carrier edit is accurate, and resubmit the records. If the driver chooses not to re-certify RODs, this is also reflected in the ELD record. The ELD must keep the original, unedited record, along with the edits. Example: a carrier edits a record to switch a period of time from “off-duty” to “on-duty not driving”, with a note that explains “Driver logged training time incorrectly as off-duty”. The edit and annotation are sent to the driver to verify. The edit is not accepted until the driver confirms it and resubmits the RODS. -
What do you mean by Logs?
