I wouldn't suggest it. Lying on a DOT physical, resume, job interview, etc. isn't helpful. Imagine what would happen if a side effect kicked in and you got into a fatality/over $500 property damage accident? If you have anxiety attacks and seizures and need meds for them that you can't stop taking, you really shouldn't be driving a 40 ton truck. I don't think anyone would be comfortable with having an anxiety/seizure prone trucker on the road.

NO you can not lie on a DOT physical. If you do and get into an accident; the consequences are very bad. The DOT and carrier will find out: You are fired for lying on a DOT physical long form and prone to law suites and charges, your dac will say so and chances are you will not be able to get another job. Is it worth someones life because of a simple lie??

    That should help you out.

Edit: I will say there are other medications for headaches and migraines. Go to your doctor and explain your about to take a DOT physical and need letters stating the following for each medication you take:

Such and such has been under my care care and may operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle safely without ANY restrictions. I can be contacted at number if you have any questions.

If you have anxiety issues you probably don't need to be driving a truck that weighs 80,000# on the highway with all the crazy 4 wheelers around you.

lying? bad. telling truth? good. once more, lying, bad, truth, good. get it? if you lie on a goverment form it is called perjury, and is against the law. so, if you get in an accident you are going to get tested, and they will find that you are taking drugs you did not tell them about, drugs that have side effects, like making you drowsy. if some one gets hurt or, God forbid, killed, you will be held responsable. read about vehicular homicide, you could be charged with that, criminal negligence, manslaughter, the list goes on and on. not to mention the moral responsability of putting people around you at risk, like peoples wives, husbands, kids, fathers, mothers, your mother, your sister, ect. so its up to you, what do you think?

Yeah you can lie all you want.

You have an accident with a person just waiting for a "winning lottery ticket" law suit to happen.

The lawyers dive into your lifes history and find that you have a "little" medical history.

Life as you know it will be over.

Your arse will be up that smelly river we've all heard about.

You just might become Bubbas best friend when they bury your arse in the jail!

Your wife and kids no longer have you at home as you're now Bubbas BF!

Was it worth all that stupid money you spent at that driver mill that's probably all ready lied to you and told you any drug you want to take is just fine so they can scam your wallet making you think you'll get that wonderful CDL and a job and when you apply and get turned down because XYZ won't hire you because of you medical history and no, this does not apply under the ADA due to his "condition" then that really was a waste of money!

Not to mention that if this did happen and they put it on a DAC/HireRight report your very short career as a rookie is over for life!

Not even an outlaw company would touch you!

What more do you need to be told?

If you do go through with that driving mill school, I pray that you can't pass any DOT test as you'll crack if you get on the road as you will NOT be able to handle the stress that is a major part of trucking!

Again what more do you need to know? We can't be any clearer than we already have!

I can't wait to hear from someone wanting to know the legalities about taking Oxycontin and shooting Heroin while driving.

The legalities? You're kidding right? :biggrin_2554:
The Oxycontin will get you parked even if you have a doctors script as the label pretty much says DO NOT on it!

The heroin will get you in a room with Bubba! Not to many ways you'll get a doctor to write a script for that!
