Also I like to keep the stock holset turbo on...cause it puts out 42psi boost on a hard pull but it lacks torque& horsepower & I know it's all in the tuning.... also what upgraded manifold I can use that will bolt right to the stock ddec6 head& turbo...it's a 2009 columbia 14 litre Detroit

Just wanting to know why you would need 600 hp? I have a DDEC 4 that’s 525 and 1850 and pulls great. That being said, Full Tilt makes manifolds for the Detroit 14L. You could pull the Holset and put a Borg 702 on it. Cheap ($750 at Summit) . Also address the exhaust system. Air in, air out equals HP and TQ. Programming from a reputable company will get you into the area you want.

I believe you already have the 1850 torque, unless it was reprogrammed.

I believe it's at 1550 torque now but I could of sworn I seen it where it said 650 ft lbs torque available..as I mentioned this morning...it's dpf& egr deleted already & the filter gutted out .dpf filter..but it lacks the torque & it's at 515& think 1550 torque

So are the early model 14 litre blocks& heads the same as the 2009 ddec6 14 litre block& head...I really like the stock turbo..it's a holset factory turbo &wanna mk sure i buy the correct exhaust maniold for the head and stock factory holset..it puts out 42 lbs boost on hard pull but it falls on it face because of torque settings & not being tuned properly I'm guessing..also if the holset turbo ever goes out...that will be the NXT turbo I go with 17702 BW

Look at the engine label and you will see that it says "1850 ft-lbs".

Engine label should be on the driver side of the valve cover. You'll have to climb up to see it. It might be worn out. But I just looked at the picture of mine and it doesn't have the torque on there. It just has the hp (515) at 1800 rpm. So you'll have to look on one of the other labels.
