I think forward facing cameras are fine but agree that a camera (that records sound too) is rough. One guy said that he blocked his camera only to get a call mins later to remove it or the truck will be shut down.
Cameras inside your truck? Does your company have them?

Cemex are putting cameras in all their trucks. Also Amerigas has cameras in their trucks. Those are the ones I know of, first hand.

I know I've seen one of the mega's wearing safety vests while driveing, don't remember which one. Swift maybe? IDK
I'll keep my cloths on thankz and make sure hubby keeps his on to. . . . well at least driveing anyway. With our luck his DM or who ever watched the cameras would be a pervert.
And that is my whole problem with incab faceing cameras. Just because they say they are only on when the truck is on, doesn't mean thats true.
BTW Noggin, our dash cam's sound can be turned off. You can hear the blinkers "tic tic" in the replays though, which may come in handy. -
Maybe I will put my own camera on me and make a new reality show!

What companies require wearing a a safety vest while driving?
-
I have a dash camera of mine , in the windshield , pointed outward. Just to show what happens when and if somebody tries to blame me for a wreck.
My company has no plans to 'babysit' us , by pointing a camera at the driver.
They hired us, so there for they trust us.
