Going into CA this weekend on I-10. Is there a time to roll through there when the weigh stations would be closed?

Actually, I got loaded a little heavy. At least when I slide the rear axle of my stepdeck forward I am at 35460#'s. so I was just trying to decide whether to risk it or pay someone to reposition my load.

How long of a Step do you have? Is it a 48' or longer? Also what is your kingpin set at from the front of the trailer?
