That’s right. I just got rid of both my tv and my $500 dish satellite antenna which didnt work when raining or when i couldnt get a spot where it could get the satellite reception.
For $40/month i’m using Youtube tv You need to have a laptop or tablet w/internet access or smart phone. You get your local channels and a bunch of cable channels.
I have more room in my truck by tossing the tv, the satellite dish, and the satellite box and the cables.
I can take my ipad anywhere. At poly our trucks always break down and its a hassle lugging the tv gear from truck to taxi to other truck.
Youtube tv has no contracts its month to month so you can try it for 1 month and see for yourself.
Youtube tv also has tons of shows and movies you can watch if theres nothing good on tv.
I use Sprint, that way i just pay the same ea. Mo. W/their unlimited service. If buying a tablet make sure its one with internet.
Cable tv in truck w/o tv or dish or antenna

Nice commercial. You know how much internet access is for a month at truckstops?
Oldironfan, Sirscrapntruckalot, tscottme and 2 others Thank this. -
I use Hulu Live TV and i have unlimited data with Verizon...
There are quite a few services similar to theseOldironfan, Sirscrapntruckalot, skellr and 3 others Thank this. -
I just watch Netflix some on Amazon Prime. Nice thing is this is all commercial free.
If I get YouTubeTV do I have to have my programs interrupted by awful commercials again? I hate commercials. That's one reason I'm ditching XM-Sirious Radio; it's the same freaking commercials all the time.Oldironfan, Sirscrapntruckalot, NavigatorWife and 3 others Thank this. -

I have a t.v. on my truck. We have 2 streaming platforms at home we use and I can log-in to either one of them when I'm out. However, I'm usually ready to hit the hay as soon as I finish my dinner, LOL. I can't remember the last time I even powered up the t.v. on my truck.Oldironfan, jon69, NavigatorWife and 4 others Thank this. -
AT&T stopped selling these but look at people selling them on eBay or any other sell site.
AT&T ZTE Mobley
Buy 12v adapter off eBay
It's unlimited 4g No cap data for $20 a month.
Might have to pay a few hundred to get it from someone but it's worth it! I lucked out and got from AT&T before they discontinued it. Still works and never have problems with it. I stream, use PlayStation online and use sometimes close to 100gb of data in one billing cycle ...still $20 with no throttling.
Good luck.Oldironfan, NavigatorWife, Dave_in_AZ and 1 other person Thank this. -
80 buck as a month and it's truly
Unlimited with no throttling.
Got it on my iPad. I love it.
I pay 80 bucks a month for
10 gigs at home.
I'm dumping that scam,
Dumping my cable at home,
And getting another sprint
Connection on a big screen.
All I need.
Even when in home, the television
Is just on, but I'm watching the iPad.Oldironfan, Dave_in_AZ and IndianaF150 Thank this. -
For $16 month you can use Philo.

HurstSirscrapntruckalot, Dave_in_AZ and IndianaF150 Thank this. -
They used to be. Just like when cable TV first came out it was commercial free. Now every throws in commercials,.. even when you pay for the service not to have commercials.
Netflix has no commercials and I pay extra on Hulu to not have commercials.
