I was asked by a company that wants me to come work for them about a cab card, do I have one. I just purchase a truck from a retiring owner, I asked him about a cab card and he had no ideal as to what I was talking about. I have looked online for the cab card, so my question is where do I obtain a cab crd from and whats the procedure.

Cab card is another term for your registration.

Don't forget to tell them that you want all the little fuel tax stickers from each state on that baby before you will roll it!
Bean Jr. and RollingRecaps Thank this. -

I carry a hardcover folder with cab card, insurance, registration for trailer, 2290 copy, mcs150 copy, ifta license, copy of my license and med card, copy of llc registration, all inside plastic sleeves. Never know what scale house might want to look at.

Why would you keep a copy of your LLC registration papers?
-
I just keep copy with me in case a broker needs it, you never know what they will ask for. I keep a buch of stuff i will prob never need, but its easier than having the wife fax it.

Cab card is a generic term for all the crap and registrations you need to roll. Ours includes all sorts of overweight permits, Oregon fuel permits, import/export permits, I even have a page in there with the relevant regulations that exempts our liquid oxygen bottles from hazmat regs. It's a lot of fun to see a scale meister's eyes light up thinking he's hooked a big one and then you pull out your ace in the hole..... Almost feel sorry for them.
