My Fiance was recently offered a job as a CDL class A instructor... We think that they are low-balling him. They only offered $13 per hour. He has over 10 years of experience driving trucks and busses, although none of it is recent as he has been working in the ironworkers trade for several years. Anyone have any idea what normal pay for this type of position would be? We are in San Diego, CA.
Thanks!

Tell him to check a couple other schools just as a guage, but I have two friends that did that gig in San Diego and both quit due to the low pay.
