    This is the highway going from Otay Mesa up towards I-8. Is this a STAA truck route? The Caltrans website has a map that shows it as California-legal only but every time I go by it, I see sleeper trucks pulling 53' trailers using it. Not only that, but there is a sign that says Border Truck Xing or something and no signs stating a length limit.

    I don’t touch it. Many more different options to go around. I’m always in that neighborhood. It’s mostly for the individuals with $$$$ and the cartels.

    $16.50 for a 5 axle paid by mail. How much is your time worth? If you are going east on I-8, it would cut off a lot of time and traffic.
