I recently purchased a 07 t800 with a c13 set at 335hp KCB serial. Im in process of rigging it and want to uprate the engine. I know there is a 500hp file from cat and curious if there is a difference between the US and Europe version. Or is there a better tweaked file to put in the ecm. I am also looking for fuel mileage, the truck will be around 40k when done with 3.42 rears and 10 speed over, would like to know experience from any drivers.

I had an 08 that was rated at 410 hp. 15 speed an 3.58's. I had it tuned with the 500 euro file at 1650 torque. It ran like a different truck was happy. Fuel mileage never changed from 410 to 500. Never seen it much better than six. High 5's on the quarterly ifta.

Had to get real familiar with iva's or vva which ever you prefer. Other that that wasn't too bad of a little motor. I had two matched units

Also I was unaware of a 500 North American file. I thought all you could get was 475. It may be the torque setting that's different. The 410 was a multi torque. Complete boat anchor. Go with the straight 1650

I assume one Is a US file. Its someone ive used for ecm rebuilds that can do a 500hp 1700 ftlb flash. Was your 08 dpf?

I have a C12 in a single axle 379, and just recently had a tune installed. Engine was rated at 410 and like @noluck said, had it bumped to 475/1650.
    Totally different truck now.

    noluck Thanks this.

I have a C13 and my mileage increased once I did a tune and a delete. I need to get the overhead done, but when it's set, I usually end up with somewhere in the neighborhood of 6.5 mpg. Mine is a 475 and the tune did absolute wonders to the performance. Without putting it on a dyno, I don't know what the actual HP is, but they estimate somewhere in the neighborhood of 550.

I haven't found many that do custom tunes I would trust. I would appreciate a lead if you got one. Im not going to change turbos but one would like a good runner. I was going to put real mufflers on it instead of converters.
