Anyone ever watched those online auctions they have on truckpaper?

Around what prices have you seen they go for?

How about to a regular in person auction?

Fabulous Maximus and nikmirbre Thank this.

I have seen them sell all over the map at auctions, depending on what and when. I have literally seen them sell for less than the fuel in them cost, up to ungodly amounts.
I wss at a richey bros auction a few years ago that they had some flds, with 12.7 detroits, which are not popular here, and they were driving them through the ring, bring average of 4 grand a piece, a nice 05 volvo with a cat in it went for 9 grand iirc. I run across the guy that bought it a couple of years later, and he was still running it.

    Yes,I have for years,.....
Ya know-you got way too many people these days Bidding Retail or Book value on this junk.
    Auctions were cool years ago......

I went to a fort wayne equipment auction about 10 years ago because they had a 1987 FLC for sale with a 3406b in it CLEAN and handsome.

I know what there worth- Yet you got dummies with money ready to step on your toes, and overpaying.....book on it was $14k.......Sold for $19k (5k over book) Heck I coulda gone up to Fremont and got it cheaper at the used truck dealer

Auctions are good for items that nobody wants

Sign up at Richie Bros auctions (free) and you can see what the trucks go for.
2014/15 Freightliner or Volvo 4/500k miles $20 - 30K mostly Penske trucks, some repos and large fleets.
There are also newer nicer trucks, but they don't go cheap. Everything is sold as is, so make sure you inspect the truck before you bid.

    mhyn and Sirscrapntruckalot Thank this.

I've seen a few trucks on truck paper.

Less then 12 hours and no bids.

I'll have to see if it's possible to favorite them to see the end of auction results.

Richie Bros auctions. Go check the truck first and then you bid on it. You can bid online and if you win you have 14 days to pick it up from Richie Bros yard.

You can. I favorite trucks and go back and look at what the final price was. I know there is a way to go through sold trucks, but I'd have to do some searching, it's been a while.

Fabulous Maximus and snowwy Thank this.
