    Hello,
I am considering buying a 2016 Volvo VNL670 D13 with 523000 miles from the volvo dealership for $38000 with 2 year Truck Master warranty included. Is truck master warranty good? How has your experience been? The only reason i want to buy a truck is because my volvo i have been driving i bought from auction and now it has a big repair which is almost 8000 cad and 3 weeks downtime and I cannot afford the repair at this time.
Is this truck a good deal should i get it? Im very concerned about the warranty.

If you cant afford a 8k truck repair you may be in the wrong business . You should have enough for a engine rebuild if it comes down to it . Also most 3rd part warranties don't cover much , especially on a truck with over 500k .

That’s not bad, just spent $16k on a mechanics mistake, won’t be getting my money back.

File bankruptcy and start over . Your in a hole and it will only get deeper unless you magically find 8k .

I suggest you check out Penske or Ryder or a similar company and lease a truck instead of buying another one. That way you don’t have to worry about the breakdowns and you aren’t locked in like if you buy one. Buying a truck with over 500,000 miles with all emissions intact will certainly help to dig your hole deeper and most likely the aftermarket warranty isn’t worth the paper it’s written on.

Wow, $10,000 for a straightforward tow. was this in Ontario? Heard it’s insane there.
I got towed out of a ditch last summer in Saskatchewan. Truck came 90 minutes from Saskatoon. On scene for 6 hours, had to call in a second truck to finish the pull (140,000 lbs super b)
    Total cost was $1,875

Not worth the paper it's written on.
