Good or bad idea to include my MC, USDOT and TxDot numbers on my business cards?

    Thanks for your help.

Bad Idea! Who are you giving the cards to? perspective customers? other drivers Etc? If the people ou are going the cards to needs that info. they will ask for it!. They don't need to have more info. then needed, how often does a card get dropped or thrown away and then who finds it? Who knows, these folks don't need that info.

Agreed. We only have our company name, address, phone# Fax# and email address on ours. All the other information you will give out when you sign up to haul their loads. Having that information doesn't speed up the process.

If you have HHG authority you are federally required to put either your DOT or MC number on any piece of advertising. But I believe that ONLY applies if you have HHG authority.

It's on the side of your truck and anyone can look it up online, so I don't see a problem. But do the people you are giving it to really need that info ? If they have your company name they can just look it up if need be I think all you really want is contact info, phone, email, maybe address.
