Do any of u guys have experience taking bunk heater apart and cleaning it? Mine is smoking real bad so i know it must have alot of carbon build up in it, probably has never been cleaned out would be my best guess.
just wondering how hard it must be to take it apart and if i can do it on the road. I have all basic tools and sockets but i know there is a special socket i need to get to be able to take the glow plug/pin out.. Or should i just run some kerosene thru it on full blast? according to youtube kerosene burns off all the carbon build up
Thanks

There are a few good YouTube videos on “Espar heater maintenance.” I personally have never serviced mine, I got a new one installed some 3 years ago and haven’t used it much.
