Don't know if they are American made or not but I buy boxes of 50 @ the Iowa 80.
MJ1657 Thanks this. -
I buy boxes of 50 from Tarp Stop. Iowa 80 wants $1.10 each, or $55 plus tax, for a box of 50, 21 inchers. A box of 50, 21 inchers, at Tarp Stop is $36 and no tax, which works out to 72 cents each and they do advertise "Made In The U.S.A."

Tarpstop has some good ones.. Box of 50 for 36.00..
MJ1657 Thanks this. -
You can usually buy bungies at any Utility Trailer shop.

I discovered these a couple of years ago. They are more expensive but are well worth the cost. They are much stronger than the rubber or EPDM bungies and are not subject to degradation from the weather. I had one holding a tool box closed on a boom truck for over 3 years. The only effect was that it faded some. http://www.justduckyproducts.com/products/the-perfect-bungee/strap/ They even come in several colors so that you can color code your sizes or match your truck etc.

Ducky bungees are $4.22 each
But they look cool and have a lifetime warranty. They can go on my trailer
I'm going to be near their plant next week. I may stop in and see what it will take for me to become a dealer. -
I normally buy them through our shop at the place I am leased to. But the last box came from 4states in Joplin Mo.
@$35 IIRC, and have "made in the USA" on them all.
only bad part is the hooks aren't crimped shut, but my 9&10yr old made easy work of that problem with a pair of channel Locks!

I too buy them at Tarpstop. They are Kenedyne brand and supposedly made in the USA. The only thing I don't like about them is they are not very elastic-like. They don't stretch well and take forever to shrink back to their original lengths. The best ones I ever bought I got from Pape but the old man and Cpape don't know the brand since he just gets whatever his supplier had at the time. They even came pre-crimped and are elastic as a rubber band. I plan on visiting a lot of vendors during MATS this year.

Flying J had them this week in KY exit 171 off of 75. 5 for ten bucks and stamped made in america. to bad i had just spent all my money on a new trailer...
