Years ago I heard that you couldn't put the bell on 'til you rolled one.

1) My intention was not to attack JD nor the post. My intention IS, however, to attack the dumb redneck convention of attaching a cowbell to the back of the trailer as well as attacking dumb redneck behavior in general.
Putting a cowbell on the back of the trailer serves absolutely no practical purpose and is trivial, but that's what rednecks and other degenerates do you see.
redneck(not capitalized out of disrespect) behavior and conventions should not be celebrated; rednecks are a drain on society.
2) My other point was to point out the stupid, sheep-like behavior of the administration; Case in point, there were very legitimate questions asked by another poster concerning sleeper size. This, i feel is more legitimate than asking about cowbells on trailers. (Again, not attacking this post in general). Yet, the post on sleeper size got shut down! And the only reason it got shut down is because people were making fun of the OP's question.
This proves that the administrator on duty has no mind of her own and will only act on mob mentality. Weak.
We really need to get our heads out of our culus. It is because of behavior and tendencies like this is because society is in the shape it is. -
I'm glad to see it wasn't me, I was totally baffled.
The bell thing may very well be a "redneck" thing, I don't know, and it really didn't matter, it's simply an historical part of our job. I've seen them on more pickups than bull racks for quite a few years. But I do recall them when I was a kid.
I don't know a thing about the thread you mentioned, but ya, if this thread borders on whatever went on there, lock it out, delete it, whatever. Standards are standards, as long as they're not double. -
So because someone hangs a bell on their bull rack they are automatically a degenerate? I think (but am not sure) that the term redneck came from your common working man that worked the farms, fields, outdoors, etc....and their neck got so brown or sun burnt they were called rednecks, and through the years the meaning got lost. Next time you see a bull hauler with a cow bell on the back of his trailer, go call him a degenerate to his face, let me know how it works out.
NWMAXI, Roadhound, Rollover the Original and 2 others Thank this. -

Do not fret dude. I'm sure there's still plenty bandwidth for you to post threads asking such urgent and poignant questions as "whats a divided highway?" Those "dumb rednecks" can never take that away from you.
