I'm looking for recent pros and cons. Equipment, Dispatching, percentage pay vs mileage pay with them. Any input would be better than none. Thanks

Yes i have recently went back to btc. I made a good paycheck here, the equipment is well maintained, they treat you good and talk to you with respect. With less than 1 yr exp you'll get 48cpm or 27%, @1yr you'll see 49cpm or 28%, 2yr you'll see 50cpm or 29%. For insurance you'll see 2 options. The cheapest costs around 130 a week for a family plan, the better coverage costs about 218 a week but has significantly better coverage. Both plans are through bcbs tennessee. The Phillips family are good people and on site daily. The old man goes out and talks to the drivers all the time. He used to drive and from my understanding still has his cdl. The equipment we have are 2011, to 16 mack pinnacles with mp8 engines, 2012 international prostars with maxxfarce, and 2016 cascadeas with dd15. We are starting to transition over to automatics with all the 2016 trucks are autos. While in orientation they will talk to you about precede or mileage with our without perdiem. They will give you the no bs explaination on both. They don't try to fill you will the bs answer that so many do on the perdiem. They do try to sell you on it, but if you ask the right questions they won't lie to you about it. One thing i do like here is they will tell you the bass #### you don't want to know. They will tell you rates are down, across the board, that mileage pay might be better off, but rates are starting to rebound some so percentage can still be good. One thing about their percentage pay, you do not get paid for bounce/deadhead miles. Some places like tmc pay you for deadhead over 150 miles. Btc doesn't pay for any. If you have questions, I'll pm you my cell, you can call me if you got anything else you want to ask.

Heres my truck, 2013 mack pinnacle, 10 speed, mp8 engine, 70in sleeper. Very comfortable inside. Little louder than the cascadeas, but not bad

Thanks for the info! Do the trucks come with power inverters? And I read on a earlier post from sometime back that they won't let you drive but so many miles per week on mileage pay vs percentage pay by the load. And I appreciate the honesty on the whole bed of roses. I filled out a App yesterday and talked to recruiter Arron.

The green trucks the old guys talk about were old Builders Transport trucks, no relation to Builders Transportation. The "ation" is the critical part of the name.

Builders Transport closed up shop a number of years ago, and were out of MS or AL, somewhere down there. BTC has been based in Memphis, TN under Mr. Frank since 1950 something, after Mr. Frank bought it from some other clown.
