Sure beats the buffet at the TA

 

A bag of dog food beats the TA buffet

 

The one at the Rio is pretty Boss too.

Alot cheaper and all you can eat lobster and oysters.
But I'm a sucker for shellfish.

Theres another one down on Freemont street to, can't recall the name of the hotel. Been a few years since I was out that way.

 

I grew up in Henderson, right outside Las Vegas, and remember fondly, suprisingly, being high as all get out and hitting up the local casino at 2 AM with my friends for some .99 cents steak and eggs. Sometimes we'd even pluck the money out of the fountain out front to pay for it. What a wasted youth. Ha

 

Used to stop for the breakfast buffet sometimes at the Gold Strike in Jean at exit 12 just south of Vegas ..

Went in their the other day with a buddy after talking it up for 500 miles about how good it was.... they've turned it into a DAGNABBIT DENNYS !!!

WHY WHY WHY ??

that's just what we need... more DENNYS

What ever happened to Whiskey Pete's

Used to be a great place. Hot blackjack tables, great food, truck parking and CDL discounts.

I'm sure they've ruined that too.

 

WP has a McDs and Starbucks and IHOP in the casino itself, and chipotle in the truck stop. Now a fully corporate deal. They have LOTS of truck parking though, there's always somewhere to park. Have bonnie and Clyde's car too

 

Well nice to hear they ruined that too.

Used to have a great restaurant inside.

I guess they figure anywhere trucks can stop they need to take a big smelly #### on it.
